Keys

Keys is an off shoot of the Make a Marimba project. In the process of trying to work out the mechanics of the frame and resonators, I became restless with wanting to be able to play again. so I decided to create a piece that not only allowed me to feel joy again, but also to allow others to experience that joy as well. This project is interactive and can be explored by the public. the way the mallets are set on the keys invites the viewer to pick them up and make sound.
